TwitKu is a simple web app that lets you monitor your Twitter and Jaiku accounts on a single page. Most of the functionality of the respective sites are reproduced, but there are enhancements not offered on those sites like Flickr thumbnails based on links, auto-expand of "tinyurls," and more.

Tips

• Click links by pressing the scrollwheel on your mouse to open them in a new browser window. Alternatively, you can hold the Ctrl key (Win) or Command key (Mac) and click your mouse button normally.

Features

• Simultaneously post a single message to both accounts.
• Click on avatar image and automatically add "@name" to input field. The appropriate account is also automatically selected.
• Click on the "Twitter" or "Jaiku" links next to the radio button to go to that site.
• Click on the "Twitter" or "Jaiku" tabs to toggle between your user and public streams. Note that Jaiku public stream does not include (custom) feeds.
• Twitter tab also has Replies feed, but you must be signed into Twitter.com.
• "Restore Last Message" will place the text of the last posted message.
• Compact URLs (e.g., tinyurl.com, rurl.org, etc.) are shown as their full original URL*
• Turns URLs (e.g., http://dougworld.com) into clickable links*
• Flickr photo page links show thumbnail
• Foreign characters supported in post
• Flickr viewer

*Processed URLs are surrounded by (tiny) mid-dots, like ·http://dougworld.com·

This website is intended for persons 18 years of age and older. Please do not use this site if you are younger than 18.

We collect some anonymous visitor data. Except as is necessary to fetch/post data from/to Twitter and Jaiku servers, and properly execute this ASP web application, all login information is encrypted and stored in cookies on your local machine and not permanently saved on the server.

We will not share your personal information with any third party unless requested by a governmental or law enforcement agency possessing adequate legal authority and support.
